Welcome to the Amazing Little Hearts CHD Support Group!! What's going on this month with Amazing Little Hearts??  Our monthly meeting will be Thursday May 17th

We will be celebrating Dr. M's birthday, Kathy's recent educational accomplishment
and Dr. John Kampine will be sharing with us as well!

Heart families and friends:
Each month that we have a meeting, we thought it would be neat to do a special donation "theme." What's it for? Well, as some of you may know, we pass out "goody bags" to families while they are in the hospital. We try to reach every new family but, because Dr. M performs 4-8 surgeries per week and we can have up to 17 babies/kiddos in the unit and overflow (sometimes more), it's hard to keep up with demand. We're trying :-). We have so many families whose kiddos are "CHSU Graduates" who ask us what they can do to help. This is one way. By no means are we making this a mandatory thing. It is totally and completely 100% optional :-) We are going to rotate each monthly meeting's donation request. Our other project is the family snack cabinet. This is a new program that we implemented in 2011. In an average of 6 week's time, we serve approximately 90 patient families! Below, please check out the items you may be on the lookout for as you grocery shop or pick up supplies for your kids and family:

screenings, "heart talks" by pediatric
and adult cardiologists- LOTS OF FUN!
March 20th
6:00-8:00 pm - City Hall, Building E
Monthly meeting – Dr. John Kampine, ARCH Anesthesia *Dr. Kampine was rescheduled to a future date TBA*
April 13th
Amazing Little Hearts Night at the Ballpark
Frisco Rough Riders

Tickets are $20 and part of the proceeds

Monthly meeting – Dr. Kampine, Dr. Eric N. Mendeloff, Director of CHSP *During June and July we will arrange at least 2 play dates at locations such as Hawaiian Falls!*

Monthly meeting ALH will provide meals to the CHSU on the 3rd floor on all the major holidays.
