Volunteer to help Amazing Little Hearts CHD Support Group

Do you have some free time during the weekdays? Is getting to Medical City Hospital relatively easy for you? Do you want to volunteer to help Amazing Little Hearts? If you answered ‘yes’ to these questions then we’ve got something for you!!

We’re looking for 2 – 3 people who can check in with the hospital (specifically, Dr Mendeloff’s office and Amy Tankersley) to meet new families and invite them to join the ALH group. And visit with existing ALH member families who happen to be at the hospital needing ‘support’. We will provide you the schedule, information and goodies you need but our small group just can’t seem to get up to the hospital as much as we’d like.

What does this require? Just a few hours any time you have for as long as you can. Activities include: Visit with families if they are open to it; drop off an ALH goody bag; or bring up an individual meal. No long-term commitment. If you can only do 1 day a month that would be wonderful. If you can visit 3 times a month we’ll take that too. Once you’ve visited just send us a note so we can document the family and if you need it for work or other we'll verify your volunteer service!
